The nearest airport is conveniently far away, the free parking is great for people who hate parking fees, and the chalet's view of the garden makes me feel like I'm in a fancy English countryside movie.
Oh, I just love struggling with the electric kettle and pretending to enjoy the view of the garden. It's the little things that make a stay memorable.

The chalet at Stone Eater was so cozy and charming! It felt like a home away from home with its lovely decor and comfy beds. I loved how it had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The bathroom was a bit small, but I guess it's a part of the chalet's rustic charm.

Gail and Rod were incredibly welcoming and made sure that everything was perfect for our romantic escape. the location was ideal, with easy access to beautiful reservoirs and the charming town nearby. the chalet itself was cozy and clean, with lovely furnishings that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the lazyboy-style armchair and the provided blankets, perfect for snuggling up after a day of exploring. It was also great to know that Gail and Rod were always available and willing to help with anything we needed.
Our only minor complaint was that the bread and butter promised for breakfast were not actually provided. It would have been helpful to know this beforehand so that we could have brought our own.

Shame I couldn't find the bread for toast, but hey, I guess next time I'll bring my own loaf to complete the experience.

Loved the location, perfect for exploring the surrounding area and reservoirs within walking distance. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the start.- The chalet was cozy, clean, and well-furnished, perfect for a weekend getaway.- Great attention to detail, with thoughtful touches and a bathroom stocked with essentials.- The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the hosts were quick to respond to any queries.
The uphill walk back to the accommodation from the town center was quite strenuous, making it a bit challenging, especially for those with mobility issues.
